Tom Pohlman, who has run Golden Nugget Atlantic City for 15 years, is stepping down May 1, he said Thursday. Pohlman, who is the longest-tenured casino general manager in Atlantic City, said in an interview he felt it was time to move on.
“I love the Golden Nugget, I love the property, I love our customers and the relationships I have built,” he said. “It’s just time.”
Pohlman will be succeeded by Kevin Scull, who has served as assistant general manager of the casino for as long as Pohlman has been there.
“It has been the honor of a lifetime to lead the amazing team at the Golden Nugget the last 15 years, and provide so many memorable experiences for our valuable guests,” Pohlman wrote on Facebook.
