Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe kicked off the second phase of its major renovation as the hotel-casino looks to complete its transformation into a resort destination.
Caesars Entertainment upped the ante on its rebrand of the former Harveys property in Nevada’s Stateline, with the cost of the project growing to $200 million from its initial $160 million price tag. Caesars wrapped up the first phase last summer.
The second phase “continues the resort’s evolution into a modern alpine escape,” according to Caesars. One of the goals for the renovation was to provide guests a more luxurious, upscale experience compared to Harveys, the company added.
