CARDIFF, Wales (AP) – The Football Association of Wales says it is investigating suspicious betting patterns on a game in the country’s top division.
The governing body has confirmed the match in question is Rhyl’s 5-0 win over Port Talbot in the Welsh Premier League on Saturday. Rhyl had not won in 16 matches and was assured of being relegated.
The FAW says “we are aware of the issue and are working on this with the relevant authorities.”
