TribalHub has partnered with the Midwest Tribal Technology Council (MTTC) to bring a second regional event to Minnesota in 2020. The event welcomes technology leaders and business executives from tribal governments and enterprises in Minnesota and Wisconsin for a one-and-a-half-day event focused on innovation and collaboration.
The event will be held May 18-19, 2020, at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minnesota. Another regional event is planned for August 19-20 at the Little River Casino in Manistee, Michigan, which is owned by Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.
The MTTC routinely hosts quarterly meetings that bring together technology leaders from tribes in the area.
Eric Olander, VP of IT at Grand Casinos, and MTTC coordinator, said, “The event’s format and agenda are designed to offer learning opportunities on core topics built around what is important to the Midwest region. A morning roundtable led by Midwest leaders will kick off day one and set the tone for open discussions, collaboration, sharing of success stories and plenty of networking.”
TribalHub Director of Operations, Shannon Bouschor, added, “There is much that can be shared and learned that is non-competitive and beneficial, which we’ve seen over the years at other regional events and at our much larger annual conference, TribalNet.”
