Global sports betting and igaming operator Flutter Entertainment, owner of brands including FanDuel, PokerStars and Betfair, is featured in Time Magazine’s Most Influential Companies list for 2024.
Time Magazine, first published in New York City in 1923, debuted its Time100 list in 2021, recognizing organizations making a strong global effect across five categories – leaders, disrupters, innovators, titans and pioneers.
Flutter is featured in this year’s Pioneers section, celebrating the company’s success in the U.S. gambling and fantasy sports markets, which resulted in its move to the New York Stock Exchange. Flutter has more than 13 million active monthly players and generated revenues of $11.8 billion in 2023, up 25 percent year over year.
Time also highlighted the Responsible Online Gaming Association, formed this year by Flutter’s FanDuel marquee U.S. brand in collaboration with DraftKings, bet365, BetMGM, Fanatics, PENN and Hard Rock.
“I am enormously proud of everyone across our global business for working so tirelessly to make Flutter the fantastic company it is today. Receiving this recognition from Time offers a well-deserved moment to reflect on our recent successes as we fix our sights firmly on our next phase of growth. We are very excited for the future,” Flutter CEO Peter Jackson said.
