  1. PlayNow, the only legal gambling website in Manitoba, is celebrating its 10th anniversary and it appears the province’s government has no plans to follow the Ontario model and open up the sports betting and igaming marketplace.
  2. Canadian sports betting and media company Rivalry launched its Casino.exe product in Ontario this week. The company unveiled its third-party casino game last summer in other jurisdictions.
  3. Playmaker, the Toronto-based digital sports media company, used last fall’s FIFA World Cup to help generate a successful fourth quarter. Gaming News Canada spoke with CEO Jordan Gnat and COO Jake Cassaday for Thursday’s edition of GNC.
