  1. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario announced Wednesday it is imposing a CA$70,00 fine on the operator of Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls for “failing to meet requirements in place to minimize the risk of unlawful activity, including money laundering, at the gaming site”. MGE Niagara Entertainment, a unit of Connecticut-based Mohegan, says it will appeal the AGCO ruling.
  2. Mitch Davidson, the chief of staff for iGaming Ontario, was a guest on the Gaming News Canada Show podcast to talk about the record numbers for the province’s regulated sports betting and igaming in its latest quarterly market performance report.
