South Dakota: Deadwood casino revenue up 3.7% year-over-year in June

Deadwood casinos generated $13.3 million in June revenue, a year-over-year increase of 3.7% compared to last year’s $12.8 million.

The figures, published by the South Dakota Department of Revenue, showed that from this total, slot machines accounted for $12 million of the combined revenue, rising from the previous year’s figure of $11.5 million, an increase of 4.5%. Table games yielded $1.3 million in revenue, down 3.2% from June 2024’s total of $1.33 million.

Four of the five table game categories saw losses year-over-year in June, with roulette seeing the highest percentage decrease, dropping from $47,339 to $40,763,  down 13.9%.

House-banked poker was the only table game to report a year-over-year increase in June, from $566,888 to $573,748, a rise of 1.2%.
