Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa announced on Wednesday that a guest hit a jackpot worth $1.2 million on a $25 bet Tuesday. The jackpot comes as Seminole Hard Rock was named the luckiest casino in the U.S. by Casino.com.

This is the second straight year the resort has claimed the top spot in the national rankings.

“This back-to-back recognition reinforces what our guests experience every day on our casino floor,” Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa President Travis Lunn said in the statement. “From jackpot celebrations and life-changing wins, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa continues to deliver one of the most dynamic gaming experiences in the country. We’re proud to once again be recognized as America’s luckiest casino.”

The winner of Tuesday’s jackpot declined any publicity.

The 2026 study analyzed 830,250 TripAdvisor reviews across 108 major casino resorts throughout the country, measuring the frequency of luck and reward-related keywords such as lucky, luck, won, winning, success, jackpot, hand pay, winner, bonus, and profit.

Bayesian-adjusted methodology was used to measure how guests referenced luck, jackpots and winning experiences in online reviews while accounting for sample size differences between casino properties.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa earned the highest Bayesian-weighted luck score in the country with 323.58 luck mentions per 1,000 reviews. Nearly half of TripAdvisor reviews for the property, 46.4%, referenced winning experiences or luck-related terms.

In 2025, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa surpassed $2 billion in jackpots for the fifth straight year, totaling $2.8 billion across 928,568 jackpots. More than 427 jackpots of $100,000 or more were awarded throughout the year, including the property’s largest jackpot of 2025 – a $2.2 million payout won in November.

There were 38 jackpots of $100,000 or more stemming from wagers of $5 per spin or less, totaling $4.7 million in winnings. The casino averaged nearly two jackpots per minute, with the average jackpot totaling $3,012. About nine out of 10 jackpots were won by Unity by Hard Rock members, the loyalty and engagement program for Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s players.
