Scientific Games announced Tuesday that they’ve named Mike Cardell as their new senior vice president of Americas Systems.
Cardell comes into the new job with over 17 years of experience as a business-technology leader, including more than 11 years at Fiserv, where he led the global fintech and payment company as vice president and general manager of Next Gen Solutions: Signature and Cloud Solutions.
In that role, he oversaw the modernization of account-processing software and cloud transformation for big financial institutions and financial-technology companies.
In his new role, Cardell will lead all aspects of the Scientific Games’s Americas lottery-system business, driving revenue and expanding product offerings, while managing existing client relationships.
“With a keen understanding of developing strategies for sustainable growth, Mike will be instrumental in growing our systems business and ensuring innovation and operational excellence in our existing system operations,” said John Schulz, President, Americas & Global Instant Products.
Cardell will also be overseeing the execution of product and business development strategies, and will look after central and regional operations, service and contract management.
