SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) – The Saratoga Casino and Raceway is marking a milestone in the construction of its $34 million hotel.
The casino is holding a “topping out” ceremony Tuesday to recognize its 108-room hotel project reaching its peak height.
Saratoga is a harness track that offers electronic versions of casino games. It is expanding its amenities as it faces the prospect of new competition in nearby Schenectady.
A license is pending for the $330 million Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady.
