The University of North Dakota has agreed to a partnership with IC360’s ProhiBet to use the company’s advanced, fully encrypted, decentralized, cross-monitoring, and notification platform.

The partnership, announced Tuesday, will allow UND to ensure sports integrity and adhere to state-specific regulations. ProhiBet will help prevent athletes, coaches, league officials, and administration from engaging in prohibited sports wagering.

“UND Athletics is pleased to partner with ProhiBet in delivering sports wagering education to our student-athletes and staff,” said UND Senior Associate AD, Internal Operations Liz Jarnigan in a statement. “The platform will also provide us with monitoring capabilities that will help our department to proactively address potential compliance issues.”

In addition to integrating ProhiBet solutions provided by IC360, the agreement provides digital educational training for all student-athletes, coaches, and administrative staff. IC360 has a proprietary e-learning platform with an audit tracking system to monitor course progress.

“We are thrilled to partner with the University of North Dakota,” said ProhiBet Managing Director Matt Heap. “The combination of ProhiBet’s state-of-the-art encrypted data transfer system and the North Dakota dedication to upholding the integrity of sports will undoubtedly enhance the transparency and trustworthiness of sports betting activities.”
