Penn Entertainment on Thursday posted revenue of $1.5 billion for the second quarter. Segment Adjusted EBITDAR was $517.2 million and Segment Adjusted EBITDAR margins were 34.4%.
Net income loss was $32.6 million.
“We continued to execute against our 2026 strategic priorities this quarter, delivering Segment Adjusted EBITDAR growth, optimizing corporate overhead, growing cash flow, and deleveraging the balance sheet,” Penn Entertainment CEO Jay Snowden said in a statement. “Penn achieved record quarterly retail segment revenues, supported by strong performance across our portfolio including our four recently completed development projects.”
Penn reported revenue for five segments. Revenue from the Northeast segment reached $731.6 million. The South segment yielded revenue of $301.9 million. Penn’s West segment reported $151.5 million, and the Midwest segment brought in $320.6 million.
“In June 2026, we opened both the new hotel tower at Hollywood Columbus and the new Hollywood Casino Aurora, and early trends at both properties are encouraging, including strong visitation from VIP players,” Snowden said.
Penn’s interactive businesses reported revenue of $349.9 million.
“Our Interactive segment remains on track to deliver upon our previously stated goals, supported by growth in U.S. icasino and Canada,” Snowden said.
David Katz, an analyst with Jefferies, wrote in a statement that “the results are better than expected, with retail delivering consensus beats in three of four regions and a $31 million Adjusted EBITDAR guidance range that exceeded the magnitude of the beat.”
“Interactive also showed continued operational progress,” Katz wrote. “Overall, revenue was relatively in line with the Street. In totality, we believe the results reflect the operational improvements demonstrated throughout the year, which should be neutral to modestly positive for the shares.”
