Jack Entertainment Tuesday released images of its new betJack Sportsbooks at Jack Cleveland Casino and Jack Thistledown Racino. The betJack Sportsbooks join the company’s sports betting portfolio including the betJACK mobile platform, currently functioning as a free-to-play app, that will transition to real money wagering on New Year’s Day.

“We are excited to debut our state-of-the-art sportsbooks, which will offer unparalleled experiences to Northeast Ohio and quickly will become fan-favorite destinations to watch all the action,” said Jack Entertainment President Brian Eby in a statement. “We owe it to our fellow Ohio sports fans to deliver something great, and we are confident they will not be disappointed. Our sportsbooks at Jack Cleveland Casino and Jack Thistledown Racino will set the standard in Ohio.”

The sportsbooks are modeled after similar spaces in Las Vegas and feature large video walls with odds boards, betting windows, and self-serve kiosks available. The sportsbooks will be located next to casino gaming floors and entertainment options.

Seating options will include theater-style recliners with phone charging outlets, high-top and low-top table seats, and banquette-style booths. The sportsbook at Jack Cleveland Casino will include a 12-seat video poker bar and 9-game table game pit.

The sportsbook openings mark the completion of a $100 million capital investment plan of renovations and improvements to both Jack locations.

While wagering will not be available until the New Year, the sportsbooks will open November 23 for viewing of local and national sporting events. The betJack sportsbooks and the betJack app will start accepting  bets beginning at 12:01 a.m., January 1, 2023.
