ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – Gambling regulators in New York state are set to get an up-close look at one of four new casinos planned for the upstate.

Members of the state’s Gaming Commission will tour the construction site of the planned Montreign Resort Casino on Monday. The facility is being built in the Sullivan County town of Thompson in the Catskills, with plans to open to the public in 2018.

Late last year the Gaming Commission approved licenses for Montreign, the Lago Resort & Casino in the Finger Lakes and the Rivers Casino & Resort at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady. A fourth casino in the Southern Tier is also planned.
