Laguna Development Corporation (LDBC), an enterprise of the Pueblo of Laguna, and Caesars Entertainment announced a partnership Monday to open multiple in-person sportsbooks at LDC gaming properties in New Mexico.
In-person sports wagers are now accepted at newly opened Caesars Sportsbook locations at the Route 66 Casino Hotel and Casino Xpress near Albuquerque and the Dancing Eagle Casino near Grants.
“We are excited to partner with one of the world’s leading gaming companies to provide New Mexico sports fans a world-class wagering experience that connects our guests with sporting events around the country and the world,” said LDC President and CEO Maxine Velasquez. “The introduction of Caesars Sportsbook to the Albuquerque metro market represents our long-held strategy to bring our guests the finest products and services available in the industry.”
The Route 66 Casino Hotel introduced sports wagering to the property in 2019.
“As we continue to make improvements and upgrades throughout our casino and restaurants this year, we are also providing our guests with new special amenities, including access to one of the country’s leading sports betting brands. Wagering options on the Caesars Sportsbook platform are nearly unlimited in scope, encompassing sports from around the world,” said Route 66 Casino Hotel General Manager Adrian Fox.
Sports betting will be a new addition to Dancing Eagle Casino’s gaming options, which currently include 400 slots and bingo.
