Massachusetts’ casinos generated $105.9 million in revenue in May, up 0.5% year-over-year.
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined revenue, recording $77.5 million, up 2.6% year-over-year. Table games generated $28.4 million, down 4.8%.
Encore Boston Harbor remained the largest revenue generator among the three casinos, recording $63.1 million in May, a 0.4% decline. Slots were up 1.9% to $38.9 million, and table games decreased 3.8% to $24.2 million.
MGM Springfield posted the highest year-over-year revenue increase last month, up 2.4% to $26.1 million. Slots rose 5.3% to $21.8 million, and table games decreased 10% to $4.2 million.
Plainridge Park, which only offers slots, recorded a 0.8% increase, with revenue rising from $16.6 million to $16.8 million.
