Mississippi casinos remain stable with $196 million in revenue in April

Mississippi’s casinos recorded revenue of $196 million in April, a year-over-year increase of 0.2%.

The Mississippi Gaming Commission figures showed that slots contributed $164.9 million, up 0.4%, while table games reached $24.9 million,down 1.7%. Retail sports betting recorded $2.9 million.

The Central and Northern regions recorded a 1.9% year-over-year decline, with Northern falling to $40 million and Central recording $26.5 million.

Slots for Central casinos were up 0.4% to $23.3 million, while table games decreased 8.7% to $2 million. For Northern, slots were down 5.4% to $32.2 million, and table games increased 3.4% to $5 million.

Coastal recorded revenue of $129.5 million, up 1.4%. Slots were up 2.2% to $109.4 million, and table games declined 2.3% to $17.9 million.
