Maine casinos generate $14.2 million in revenue for April, down 0.9%

Maine’s two commercial casinos have recorded $14.2 million in revenue for April, down 0.9% year-over-year.

The Maine Gambling Control Unit figures show that slots accounted for $12 million, down 3.4%, while table games generated $2.1 million, up 16.6%.

Oxford Casino reported$8.2 million, down 3.7%. Slots were down 7.2% to $7 million, while table games increased 23.2% to $1.2 million.

Hollywood Casino saw revenue rise 3.4% to $5.9 million. Slots increased 2.5% to $5 million, and table games were up 8.9% to $915,734.
