Maine casino revenue rises 3.5% to $15.6 million in July

Maine’s two casinos, Oxford Casino and Hollywood Casino, generated $15.6 million in revenue last month, up 3.5% year-over-year.

The Maine Gambling Control Unit figures show that slots accounted for most of the figure with $13.6 million, up 7.1%, while table games generated $1.9 million, down 16.5%.

Oxford Casino recorded the highest revenue in July, posting $9.6 million, up 5.7%. Slots were up 10.9% to $8.6 million, and table games declined 23.4% to $1.1 million.

Hollywood Casino recorded $5.9 million, remaining stable compared to the previous year. Slots increased 1.3% to $5 million, and table games decreased 6.4% to $870,071.
