Maine casino revenue hits $14.2 million in March, down 1.3% year-over-year

Maine’s two commercial casinos generated a combined $14.2 million in revenue for March, down 1.3% year-over-year.

The figures, published by the Maine Gambling Control Unit, show that slot machines brought in $12 million during last month, down 0.9%, while table games generated $2.15 million, dropping 3.7%.

Oxford Casino reported $8.2 million, down 5%. Slots were down 3.2% to $7 million, while table games decreased 15.1% to $1.1 million.

Hollywood Casino generated $6 million, up 4.2%. Slots were up 2.5% to $5 million, and table games increased 13.1% to $1 million.
