Las Vegas-based payments specialist Koin has partnered with TribalValue, a division of TribalHub, to broaden access to cutting-edge digital payments technologies for tribal populations across the United States.
Through this partnership, TribalValue will promote Koin’s mobile wallet and cashless technology to Tribal organizations, utilizing their understanding of the tribal environment, and the unique needs and challenges faced by tribal organizations.
“Integrating digital payment technologies into the gaming and entertainment sectors has been pivotal in advancing the wider move toward cashless systems,” said Gary Larkin, Koin co-founder and president. “With TribalHub’s extensive network and their decades of building partnerships, we’re eager to bring this essential functionality to a broader audience.”
“TribalValue aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tribal organizations by facilitating connections with industry partners,” said Mike Day, executive officer for TribalHub. “Partners like Koin understand the needs of tribes and the importance of leveraging the combined strength of tribes to secure favorable deals.”
Larkin added, “This partnership marks another step towards expanding the reach of cashless solutions in our daily lives and, importantly, ensures that more communities can benefit from the fully integrated digital economy.”
Koin recently secured reinvestment from partner and global payments leader Euronet Worldwide, Inc. and expanded collaborations with sister company Marker Trax. Meanwhile, TribalHub is celebrating the successful launch of the TribalValue portal to enhance service offerings to tribal enterprises and the expansion of the annual TribalNet Conference & Tradeshow, what the organization says is the largest event of its kind dedicated to tribal technology and leadership.
