Ainsworth Game Technology Thursday announced the installation of its historical horse system and terminals at Sandy’s Racing and Gaming in Ashland, Kentucky.
The new property features 675 historical horse racing terminals, with approximately 60 percent connected to Ainsworth’s HHR system. Sandy’s Racing also hosts 70 Ainsworth terminals with titles such as San Bao Pandas and Dragons.
“Ainsworth’s HHR System continues to set the standard in the historical horse racing market as we expand our presence in Kentucky and other HHR jurisdictions,” said Ainsworth President of North America Deron Hunsberger in a statement.
The venue will feature Ainsworth content on several unique terminals including the A-STAR Curve, A-STAR Curve XL, A-STAR Dual Screen, and A-STAR Slant cabinets. The company notes that the titles and platforms have been specifically engineered for historical horse racing, certified by an independent testing lab, and approved by applicable gaming and racing commissions.
Ainsworth’s HHR System also is capable of hosting content from gaming manufacturers including Aristocrat, IGT, Konami, and Light & Wonder.
“Ainsworth’s HHR platform offers the best-value proposition to operators in the historic horse racing market today,” said Sandy’s Gaming President of Revolutionary Racing John Marshall. “ We look forward to blazing Sandy’s trail with partners like Ainsworth.”
