Greek gametech company Kaizen Gaming has appointed Aris Dimarakis as deputy CEO and Christos Tzalavras as chief product officer.

Dimarakis will work alongside CEO George Daskalakis and will be responsible for “driving operational development and supporting the company’s strategic goals.” He will continue his role as chief operating officer, overseeing Kaizen’s operations in Europe, North America, South America and Africa. He joined Kaizen as chief technology officer and, before joining Kaizen, led technology departments in the tech and media industries.

“Driven by a relentless growth mindset, Kaizen Gaming has become a powerhouse in the sports betting and gaming industry,” Daskalakis said. “Aris has been an integral part of this growth journey all these years. Possessing a deep understanding of the industry, the technology and the values that make Kaizen Gaming unique, I am confident in his ability to scale our operations and set the company up for future success.”

Tzalavras will be responsible for overseeing product innovation and strategy in order to meet the needs of Kaizen’s customer base. Having been part of the company for 12 years, Tzalavras previously was senior director of sports and has experience in commercial leadership, marketing and customer relationships.

“As for Christos, with his proven track record, keen commercial mindset and marketing expertise, he is the perfect choice for chief product officer,” Daskalakis sai. “Having risen through the company ranks throughout the years, Christos is one of the best examples of our ‘Kaizen – continuous improvement’ mindset. Both Aris and Christos will be key figures in continuing our upward momentum.”

This year, Kaizen was among several gambling companies interested in gambling licenses in Brazil when the market launched. Other companies interested include DraftKings, LeoVegas, Scientific Games and Betfair.
