California: Morongo appoints Tony Gawne as Chief Information Officer

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California, on Monday announced Tony Gawne has been named as Chief Information Officer.

“Tony brings a rare combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and hands-on leadership that aligns perfectly with Morongo’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence,” Morongo Casino Resort & Spa CEO Mike Bean said in a statement. “His experience modernizing complex technology environments and strengthening cybersecurity will play a critical role in supporting our teams, enhancing the guest experience, and positioning Morongo for continued long-term success.”

As Chief Information Officer at Morongo, Gawne is responsible for ensuring that technology platforms and digital capabilities support guest experiences, operational resilience, and long-term enterprise value.

Gawne has more than 26 years of experience as a senior technology executive leading enterprise technology strategy and execution within large-scale, highly regulated gaming and hospitality environments.
