The International Center for Responsible Gaming on Thursday announced plans for the 27th Annual ICRG Conference on Gambling and Addiction at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas September 27-28. The science-based forum will showcase the latest research on gambling prevention, player protection, treatment, and responsible gambling.
Researchers, treatment providers, public health professionals, responsible gambling specialists, industry leaders, regulators, and policymakers will participate in discussions on the future of gambling research and player protection.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Sports betting expansion, emerging products, and consumer protection
- Gambling, mental health, and substance use
- Indigenous and tribal approaches to healing, prevention, and community response
- Artificial intelligence and data science for player protection
- Translational neuroscience and the biological mechanisms of gambling risk
- Responsible gambling communication and implementation
- The latest scientific discoveries presented through poster sessions and returning Lightning Poster Talks
Scheduled featured speakers:

Organizers said 25 additional speakers and experts will be announced in the coming weeks.
