International Center for Responsible Gaming introduces three new governing board members

The International Center for Responsible Gaming Wednesday announced the election of three new members to its governing board.

Sheila Morago of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association; Stephen Martino from MGM Resorts International; and Q Casino CEO Alex Dixon are the ICRG board’s new additions.

“We are honored to have outstanding industry leaders like Sheila Morago, Alex Dixon, and Stephen Martino join the ICRG board,” said ICRG President Arthur Paikowsky in a statement. “They bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to responsible gambling.”

Morago is executive director of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association. She previously served as executive director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association from 2004 to 2011. Morago also was director of public relations for the National Indian Gaming Association from 2001 to 2004.

Martino, senior vice president & chief compliance officer for MGM Resorts International, directs the company’s compliance with federal and state laws as well as regulations governing gaming activity, financial transactions, anti-money laundering policy, surveillance, and responsible gaming programming. He has oversight of MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas and across the United States.

Dixon, CEO of the non-profit Q Casino in Dubuque, Iowa, previously worked at MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, and Goldman Sachs. Dixon was hired by MGM in 2019 to oversee the $825 million sale of Circus Circus Hotel & Resort, the 11th largest hotel in North America.
