Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in Gary recently announced the expansion of its High Limit Room, unveiling an enhanced premium gaming space designed to meet growing guest demand and deliver a VIP experience.
This expansion, which has been in development for several months, reflects the property’s continued commitment to enhance the gaming experience for guests. According to a news release, during the past several years, the High Limit Room has become a standout destination within the casino, with guests responding enthusiastically to its exclusive atmosphere and diverse selection of games.
“As demand for our High Limit Room has continued to grow, we recognized an opportunity to not only expand capacity but also elevate the overall experience,” Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana President Matt Schuffert said in a statement. “This project allows us to deliver a more refined, high-end environment for our guests who are looking for something truly special.”
The expanded High Limit Room has increased by 50 slot machines, bringing the total to 122, which includes several new games that have recently made their global debut. The expansion also introduces upgraded amenities designed to enhance guest comfort and luxury.
Other highlights:
- Expansion of high-payout opportunities, including eight Million Dollar Dragon Link games offering the chance to win a $1 million jackpot on a single bet.
- Increase in number of $100,000 Dragon Link games from seven to 11.
In the High Limit area, winning bettors can benefit from quicker payouts thanks to the installation of additional jackpot processing terminals. Adjacent to the gaming floor, the exclusive VIP Plum Lounge for top-tier members has been enhanced and expanded with additional seating, allowing the space to comfortably welcome more guests. Service also has been increased with a new beverage service well, enabling the beverage team to deliver faster hospitality.

The High Limit Room expansion officially opened after a May 2 ribbon-cutting ceremony. The High Limit expansion celebration continues through the month of May, with more promotions to be announced, and culminating in one lucky winner driving home with a 2026 Porsche Cayenne on June 6.
