Officials at Northwest Indiana’s top gaming destination cut a ribbon Wednesday to officially open a long-needed expansion of its High Limit Room.
Visitors to the specialized gaming area at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana now have about twice as much space to move around in and 121 slot machines to play, up from 70.
“Basically everything you see back here is all the newest generation that was showcased at this year’s gaming show out in Las Vegas,” said Michael Gaudreau, vice president of casino operations.
Hard Rock’s new High Limit Room is filled with colorful video displays reaching nearly to the ceiling, including a first-to-the market 10th anniversary edition of the popular Lightning Link game that Gaudreau said people have been waiting in line to play.
