Casino revenue in Indiana increased by 2% year-over-year in August from $200.2 million to $204.2 million.
The figures, published by the Indiana Gaming Commission, show that of the state’s 13 casinos, six reported year-over-year revenue increases.
Both Caesars casinos, Horseshoe Indianapolis and Horseshoe Hammond, experienced the highest revenue increases in August. The Hammond location’s revenue rose by 30.1% from $18.9 million to $24.6 million. Horseshoe Indianapolis also saw a double-digit increase of 11.1%, with revenue rising from $25.2 million to just more than $28 million.
Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana generated the highest revenue, totaling $34.3 million, down 6.1% from the $36.6 million generated in August 2024.
Rising Star Casino generated the lowest revenue in the state of $3.4 million, and also saw the biggest loss year-over-year dip of 11%, from the $3.8 million generated the year before. Ameristar Casino saw the second-highest year-over-year decrease of 8.9%, falling from $13.6 million to $12.4 million.
Slots in the state saw a revenue increase of 2.6%, with revenue increasing from $177.4 million to $182.1 million. Table games saw revenues rise by 1.6% from $37.5 million to $38.1 million.
