Illinois casinos see AGR rise 21.3 percent year-over-year in January

Illinois’ 16 casinos reported adjusted gross receipts (AGR) of more than $143.9 million in January, up 21.3 percent from the $118.6 million in January 2024, but down from more than $157 million in December.

Electronic gaming devices generated $108.8 million in adjusted gross receipts, up 25.1 percent, and table games produced more than $31.6 million, up 11 percent compared to January 2024.

Only four casinos generated revenue above $10 million in January 2025 as reported by the Illinois Gaming Board. Rivers Casino generated the highest amount last month, reporting $38.7 million in AGR,  a slight declined compared to January 2024, which generated $38.8 million.

Wind Creek produced $13.2 million, Hard Rock Casino Rockford $11.3 million and Grand Victoria Casino more than $10.2 million in AGR.
