Illinois’ casinos generated $181 million in revenue during April, up 11.3% year-over-year.
The Illinois Gaming Board figures showed that slots generated $138.7 million, up 13.6%, while table games added $42.3 million, up 4.4%.
Of the state’s 17 casinos, 13 showed year-over-year revenue increases. The biggest earner was Rivers Casino Des Plaines, which generated $46.2 million, up 5.3%.
Other double-digit revenues came from Wind Creek Chicago Southland ($19.5 million), Hard Rock Casino Rockford ($13.6 million), Grand Victoria ($13.3 million), Hollywood Casino Joliet ($13 million), Bally’s Chicago ($12.1 million), and Full House Resorts ($10.5 million).
Fairmount Park, which opened its casino last April, saw revenue increase 365.7% to $2.3 million.
Walker’s Bluff saw revenue drop 8.2% to $2.9 million, and Harrah’s Joliet was down 7.2% to $8.7 million.
