Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has named Peter Brattander as vice president of food and beverage. Brattander will report directly to Hard Rock Atlantic City President George Goldhoff and will provide leadership to ensure Hard Rock’s food and beverage operations deliver consistent levels of guest service and product quality.
“Peter’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry will take our food and beverage offerings and restaurants at our casino resort to the next level,” said Goldhoff.
Brattander brings a long career in food and beverage leadership to Hard Rock. He most recently served as director of food and beverage at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. He also served as director of food and beverage in Las Vegas at the Venetian, MGM Grand, and Mirage.
Brattander was integral to the L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon restaurants, with multiple locations around the globe, as well as Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak at the Mirage. He has managed restaurants for Thomas Keller and Michael Mina and partnered with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson at Aquavit in New York.
A native of Sweden where he studied finance and marketing, Brattander enjoys spending time with his son. He’s active in environmental initiatives and previously served as chairman of several green committees. He’s also a supporter of mentorship and leadership-development programs.
