Sports data company Genius Sports has become an associate member of the International Betting Integrity Association, a betting-integrity monitoring body.
The companies will share across their intelligence platforms information relating to fraudulent and suspicious betting activities. The agreement includes mutual access to tech resources, data and reports in a joint effort to prevent international match-fixing activities throughout global betting markets.
“Cooperation and the sharing of information are vital pillars to safeguarding the global sports industry from the threats of match-fixing and betting-related corruption,” said Simon Martyn, Genius sports director of integrity and rights enforcement. “Our partnership with IBIA will provide us and our partners with greater transparency over global betting patterns, helping to identify, manage and prevent any integrity threats.”

Founded in 2021 in London, Genius Sports is a betting data technology company that provides services to the NFL NCAA, NASCAR, FanDuel, CBS and other premier sports and media organizations.
