Focus on Adept: Beyond dispatch – Adept expands its casino operations portfolio

For more than a decade, Adept has helped casino operators respond faster to what is happening on the gaming floor. Its flagship product, Adept Mobile Dispatch System (AMDS), routes alerts from player tracking, kiosks, and other systems to the employees responsible for handling them.

Today, AMDS is used across more than 50 casino properties. Over time, the platform has expanded to include Electronic MEAL Book, Down Game Log, Preventative Maintenance, Host Notifications, Drink Alerts, and more, extending its role from coordinating service response to helping teams manage day-to-day slot operations.

Now, Adept is taking that approach beyond AMDS itself. The company is expanding its casino operations portfolio to address staff communication, progressive readings, parts inventory, and jackpot celebrations. All different needs that have emerged through its work with casino operators.

“Our customers have helped shape AMDS over the years,” says Mahesh Jituri, Adept’s president and CEO. “These new products build on those conversations, addressing the challenges their teams bring to us beyond dispatch.”

The growing portfolio includes AdeptConnect, ProgressiveIQ, Vault and Show Control. Each addresses a different part of the work involved in running a casino floor.

Progressive readings illustrate the kind of process the company is looking to simplify. Employees move across the floor to record meter values, identify readings that need closer attention and prepare the information for review. When that process relies on spreadsheets and manual calculations, collecting the readings is only part of the job.

ProgressiveIQ brings the workflow onto a mobile device. Employees can work through their readings, record values, and document exceptions with supporting notes or photos. The application also calculates liabilities and allows completed readings to be exported for auditing.

The purpose is not to eliminate the employee’s role in taking readings, but to make the work easier to complete, check and document.

Vault, currently in development, addresses another practical challenge: keeping track of the parts needed to maintain a slot floor.

Knowing that a replacement component is in inventory is only useful if a technician can find it. Vault is being designed around casino parts-management workflows, including cabinet configurations, parts repair, and procurement. The aim is to give teams a clearer picture of what they have and where it is kept.

Staff coordination is another part of the expansion. AdeptConnect focuses on voice, text, and image-based communication among casino employees, complementing the assignment and tracking of work handled through AMDS.

Show Control takes the portfolio in a different direction. The system connects jackpot events with digital signage and other presentation systems, giving operators a way to turn a win at one machine into a celebration across the gaming floor.

Interest in Show Control has increased following the rise in the federal slot jackpot reporting threshold from $1,200 to $2,000 in 2026. The change has meant fewer tax-related machine lockups and handpays, reducing some of the visible activity that traditionally draws attention to a big win.

Show Control gives operators another way to create that excitement. Instead of relying on a machine lockup to signal that someone has won, casinos can automatically trigger video, digital signage, and other effects when qualifying jackpot events occur.

The products address different needs, but they share a common starting point: conversations with casino operators about where their teams need better tools. Adept is using that feedback to guide which applications it develops and how they fit into day-to-day operations.

“We’re expanding beyond dispatch to help casino teams manage more of their daily work, from progressive readings to parts inventory,” says Eshan Jituri, Adept’s head of growth. “Each product has to solve a real operational problem.”

AMDS remains at the center of that strategy, while Adept’s broader portfolio extends its focus into other parts of daily casino operations.
