Florida non-tribal casino slots revenue falls 3% in May to $60.7 million

Florida’s non-tribal casinos generated $60.7 million in slots revenue for May, down 3% year-over-year.

The Florida Gaming Control Commission figures showed that of the state’s eight casinos, Magic City Casino recorded the highest revenue for the month, posting $12.9 million, down 5.3%. Harrah’s Pompano Beach recorded $11 million, down 0.5%.

Only three casinos recorded year-over-year revenue increases: Big Easy Casino increased 8% to $3.4 million, Hialeah Park Casino was up 4.8% to $9 million, and Casino at Dania rose 1.2% to $4.5 million.

Casino Miami recorded the largest decrease, dropping 11.9% to $7.2 million, followed by Calder Casino, down 7.2% to $7.6 million, and Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino, down 5.3% to $5.1 million.
