Florida’s non-tribal casinos record $60.8 million in slots revenue for April, up 2.8%

Florida’s non-tribal casinos generated $60.8 million in slots revenue for April, up 2.8% year-over-year.

The Florida Gaming Control Commission figures show that Magic City Casino remained the biggest revenue generator, reporting revenue of $12.8 million, up 10%. Other big performances came from Harrah’s Pompano Beach was  up 5.3% to $11.8 million, and Hialeah Park Casino was up 4.3% to $8.5 million.

The Casino at Dania recorded the largest year-over-year revenue increase, rising 17.6% year-over-year to $4.9 million.

Gulfstream Park recorded the largest year-over-year decline, dropping 9.5% to $4.7 million. Calder Casino and Big Easy Casino showed declines of 5.1% and 3.5%, respectively, while Casino Miami revenue fell 1.9%.
