Betting and igaming operator FanDuel has named Karolina Pelc, founder and CEO of BeyondPlay, as vice president of BeyondPlay at FanDuel after FanDuel completed its acquisition of the igaming start-up this year.

BeyondPlay offers a jackpot management system and multiplayer software that allows users to participate in shared casino game sessions. FanDuel expects the integration to elevate the customer experience and grow its share in the U.S. igaming market.

“There is something pretty special to see the brand name you once came up with, with no fancy marketing agencies but just pen, paper and your dreams of ‘what could be,’ to now feature in your job tittle, working for one of the most influential gaming companies in the world and the No. 1 gaming operator in the U.S.,” Pelc wrote on social media platform LinkedIn. “I am happy to share I am starting a new position as vice president BeyondPlay at FanDuel, part of Flutter Entertainment Plc.”

Pelc has more than 20 years of industry experience before she founded BeyondPlay in 2021 and her previous roles include head of casino and casino director at LeoVegas and vice president of casino innovation at SG Digital. She also owned the online gaming consulting services company Basic Strategy and served as group chief product officer for Games Marketing Ltd.
