Casino game provider Evolution has launched a new online live game show, Lightning Storm, which debuted at ICE London 2024, and Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter describes it as its “biggest game yet.”

“Lightning Storm is by far our biggest, most ambitious and technologically advanced game yet. This is our fifth generation of big wheel game shows and it incorporates learnings from all our prior game shows,” Haushalter said in a news release.

Set in a dark laboratory, the main game revolves around a 39-segment DigiWheel, a 360-degree, fully rotating HD gaming wheel that Evolution acquired in 2021. The live host spins the wheel, offering the chance for instant cash wins or triggering one of five bonus games with guaranteed multipliers, including Fireball, Monster Mash, Hot Spot, Battery Charger and Lightning Storm, the finale that offers players up to 20,000x their bet amount.

“I’m in awe of this game and all the work and talent that have gone into creating it — game development, technical and math know-how, machine shop skills for the creation of the unique, retro-futuristic lab-style settings and mad machines,” added Haushalter. “It all comes together so well and I feel that players are going to be blown away by Lightning Storm.”

Last month, Evolution brought its live dealer online casino games to Delaware in a partnership with BetRivers with titles including Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, Funky Time and Dream Catcher. Evolution’s first live game show launched in 2017.
