The progressive meter on the Wheel of Fortune Triple Stars slot machine at Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts in Yonkers, New York, has surpassed $2 million and is now the second-largest jackpot in the casino’s history.

The largest was hit by Theresa P. of Ossining, New York, who won $2,919,162 in 2018.

“As one of the largest gaming floors in the country, Empire City offers exclusive progressive jackpots that can only be won at our location. We’re eagerly anticipating the lucky winner,” said Taryn Duffy, vice president of public affairs at Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts.

The future winner of the growing $2 million jackpot will join Empire City’s “Millionaires Club.” The most recent member is Leo of Yonkers, who took home a jackpot of $1.1 million in 2022. Other members of the Millionaires Club include Linda P. of Connecticut who won a $1.5 million jackpot and Howard G. of Long Island who took home $1.47 million,

In addition to the $2 million jackpot, nine six-figure jackpots are also waiting to be won at Empire City.

It’s the second progressive jackpot to breach the $2 million mark this week, along with the Dragon Link game at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
