Delaware North this week launched an expanded and enhanced player rewards program for its U.S. casinos and other gaming properties.
Lucky North Rewards, formerly Lucky North Club, features long tier-earning and benefit-use periods, expanded on-property and destination benefits and new national and local partnerships for discounted and complementary experiences. Benefits include eligibility for various gaming offers, hotel stays, gifts, dining, casino amenities and travel packages.
“As Delaware North continues to grow our gaming business, we made it a priority to make our player loyalty program much more robust and competitive to reward our players and entice new ones,” Delaware North Gaming Division Vice President of Marketing Nathan Holobowski said in a statement. “Our players will earn rewards more easily and enjoy a greater experience at our casinos, as well as more and better additional experiences as a result of their participation.”
Lucky North Rewards has about 2.5 million members across Delaware North’s gaming portfolio of casinos and gaming venues, including:
- Southland Casino Hotel, West Memphis, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee
- Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, Wheeling, West Virginia
- Mardi Gras Casino & Resort, Cross Lanes, West Virginia
- Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, Farmington, New York
- Hamburg Gaming, Hamburg, New York (operates only)
- Gate City Casino, Nashua, New Hampshire
- Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club, Daytona Beach, Florida
- Orange City Racing & Card Club, Orange City, Florida
This year, previous Lucky North Club accounts were automatically transferred to Lucky North Rewards accounts with no changes to point balances.
Highlights of the new program include a 12-month tier-earning and benefits-use periods, double the previous six-month periods. Some points-earning ratios and tier thresholds were adjusted, with tiers at select locations up to 40% easier to earn.
Tiers remain the same: Ruby (base level), Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond and Black Diamond. Players will earn and receive benefits over a full calendar year. While enjoying benefits earned, players also will be earning toward status for the next year. Members will be able to upgrade status as soon its earned and use it for the remainder of the current year and the next full year.
Lucky North Rewards has partnered with national brands to unlock exclusive benefits and experiences beyond the casinos:
- Carnival Cruise Line: Players can receive complimentary or discounted cruises annually based on tier for vacations on land and sea.
- Fontainebleau Las Vegas: Players can receive complimentary or preferred room rates for stays at the new casino.
- 1-800-Flowers Family of Brands: Lucky North Rewards members receive a 20% discount to access brands such as Shari’s Berries, Harry & David,and The Popcorn Factory.
It is expected in 2025 that additional national partnerships, as well as regional and local partnerships specific to individual Delaware North casino and gaming property markets, will be introduced.
The Lucky North Destinations program has added several Delaware North-operated travel destinations for players at Delaware North casinos and other gaming venues via complimentary and discounted visits.
Players have access to 16 different destinations, including
- The Squire at Grand Canyon, a Holiday Inn Resort
- Tenaya at Yosemite, Delaware North’s full-service resort near Yosemite National Park
- Gray Wolf Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn West Yellowstone and Yellowstone Park Hotel, West Yellowstone, Montana
- Southland Casino Hotel
- Titusville Kennedy Space Center, Florida
- Discounted single-day admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, operated by Delaware North for NASA
Via Lucky North Rewards, players can qualify for various gaming offers, hotel stays, gifts, dining, casino amenities and travel packages, with additional benefits added throughout 2025 via new local and national partnerships.
Specific benefits vary by property, but included are complimentary and discounted on-property hotel stays, including VIP check-ins and late check-out; casino promotions such as birthday, anniversary and tier-match status with other Delaware North gaming properties; priority on-property restaurant reservations and discounts; and complimentary valet parking.
Debuting later this year, active-duty military, veterans and first responders with proper ID can receive a specially designated Lucky North Rewards card and a boost to the Emerald tier, if not already qualified.
