Colorado casinos generated $104 million in revenue for August, remaining stable compared to the previous year’s figure.
The Colorado Department of Revenue figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined total, posting $88.5 million, down 2.2%, while table games generated $15.5 million, up 16.7%.
The Black Hawk region recorded the highest revenue with $79.4 million, up 1%. Slots were down 2.1% to $65.1 million, and table games were up 18.3% to $14.3 million.
The Central City region reported the biggest year-over-year revenue increase of the three regions, up 1.4% to $7.1 million. Slots increased 0.9% to $6.9 million, and table games were up 20.5% to $192,044.
The Cripple Creek region recorded the only year-over-year revenue decline for the month, down 3.6% to $17.5 million. Slots were down 3.7% to $16.5 million, and table games dropped 2.7% to $990,967.
