The stylish cocktail event — presented in partnership with Global Gaming Women — honored the fifth class of 10 Women Rising in Gaming, bringing the total number of women recognized by the program to 50, and welcomed almost 200 guests. Captured among the evening’s photos are scenes of the honorees being recognized on stage.
A special thank-you goes to Resorts World Las Vegas, the Venue Sponsor, and to the Gold sponsors Passport Technology, Renova Technology, Light & Wonder and CCT, and Silver sponsor Mindway AI, whose support made the evening possible.
Running from 6pm to 8pm, the Day Zero Party offered a mix of stand-up and sit-down mingling with hors d’oeuvres, beer, champagne, and wine, providing guests an opportunity to connect before diving into the bustle of G2E week.
Short speeches were delivered by Andrew W Scott, Group CEO of CDC Gaming; Josef Wagner, SVP of Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas; and Brandi Ellis, First Vice President of Global Gaming Women. Nicole Russo, Operations Director at the UNLV International Center for Gaming Regulation and a 2024 10 Women Rising in Gaming honoree, served as emcee.
This year’s edition returned to Allē Lounge on 66 for a second consecutive year, and is part of the CDC Events portfolio launched in 2025 following the merger between CDC Gaming and Inside Asian Gaming (IAG).
CDC Gaming looks forward to welcoming you to future CDC Events, including the 2027 Pre-G2E Day Zero Party on Sunday, September 26, 2027.
