Casino Morongo Friday announced the opening of a new poker room and bingo hall. Both are part of an expansion and renovation project at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California.
“We’re thrilled to announce that bingo is back at Morongo, and cards are in the air in our new poker room,” said Morongo’s Chief Operating Officer Richard St. Jean in a statement. “We’ve created two gorgeous new spaces for our poker and bingo players to enjoy and we’re confident that these new accommodations will exceed our guests’ expectations for comfort and playability.”
The Casino Morongo Poker Room features 20 tables with automatic shufflers and available game-side dining. The poker room also offers features six wall-mounted high-definition 65-inch TVs. As part of its grand opening weekend, the poker room will give away $500 random Morongo Awards to members hourly, starting April 1 at noon until midnight April 4.
The Casino Morongo Bingo Hall features 250 seats and state-of-the-art electronic playing tablets. A re-opening celebration starts April 1 at 3:00 p.m., with the first game scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The hall opens at 3 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays; 11 a.m., Sundays; and is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
The project follows the 2020 renovation of the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, which included remodeling all 310 of Morongo’s suites and guest rooms.
