There are a lot of changes coming to Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in the Central Business District as it transforms to Caesars Entertainment, but one of the most anticipated additions is a Nobu restaurant.
The plans for Nobu were announced in 2021, and Samir Mowad, senior vice president and general manager for Caesars Entertainment New Orleans, gave an update on construction Friday at the Chamber of Commerce 2023 annual meeting.
The Nobu name has become a byword for luxury as it has grown into a high-end lifestyle brand.
The upscale sushi restaurant, which started in Beverly Hills in 1987, will be an anchor on the ground level of the new hotel tower, Mowad said.
