The Pasco City Council will hear from the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation on an economic development project that includes the construction of a casino resort on an 160 acre site in the King City area, a commercial and industrial hub off SR 395.
Jarred-Michael Erickson, chairman of the Colville Business Council, and Cody Desautel, executive director of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, are scheduled to present the project’s background, goals and current status during Monday evening’s regular council meeting.
The presentation will outline how the project took shape through joint work with local agencies and explain the Tribes’ historical connection to Pasco and the surrounding area.
