Since breaking ground in August 2022, the Caesars Virginia casino resort project is still expected to be complete in late 2024.
The hotel tower is being built, with work underway on the third floor, said Caesars Virginia General Manager Chris Albrecht.
“There is also progress on the casino basement including back-of-house areas and the loading dock,” Albrecht told the Danville Register & Bee via email Wednesday. “There are also a couple of customer surface parking lots near completion.”
Danville Casino, the temporary gaming facility operating until completion of the full Caesars Virginia resort, currently has more than 400 employees, Albrecht said.
