Virginia casinos had another strong month in September. The state’s five operating casinos generated more than $97.5 million in adjusted gaming revenue, according to the latest Virginia Lottery casino gaming report.

The news hits as the Live! Casino in Petersburg just hit a major construction milestone. Virginia casinos are on a winning streak similar to the one we saw a year ago.
Together, the state’s five casinos operated 5,435 slot machines and 283 table games during September. Slots remained the largest source of casino revenue, producing $71.58 million in AGR. Table games added another $26 million.

Caesars Virginia in Danville was the state’s top-performing casino for the month. It earned $36.15 million in total AGR, helped by strong results from both slots and table games.
