The Boring Co.’s Vegas Loop’s longest extension to date is still on track to open in time for this year’s Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The twin-tunnel University Center Loop will run for two miles underneath Paradise Road between the Westgate Las Vegas and a site that Boring Co. owns at 4744 Paradise near UNLV.
The company had planned to open one tunnel this month and the second a few weeks later but decided to put both online at the same time before Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, according to Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
