A plot of land on the south edge of the Las Vegas Strip has been sold to a group that plans to open a “Top Gun”-themed attraction.
Advent Allen Entertainment announced Tuesday that it acquired a 2.48-acre site on Las Vegas Boulevard at Russell Road, saying this will be the future home of an immersive destination inspired by the blockbuster movie franchise starring Tom Cruise.
It did not disclose the terms of the land deal, but property records show the buyers purchased the project site this month for $12.5 million.
The plot is between the Little Church of the West wedding chapel and the Pinball Hall of Fame arcade.
